 What were we inspired by?

- When thinking of what everyday heroes we wanted to feature, we thought about something that was personally relevant to us - and two of us have pet cats, and all of us have interacted with community cats at some point in time. We wanted to focus on the 'everyday' aspect of the theme, and shine some light on people (or in this case, cats) that help us out in ways that aren't always so obvious.

What sort of experience / message are we hoping our game will bring across to the player?

- We wanted to impart a sense of calm and happiness to the players by emulating interactions with community cats. There's very little narration and we wanted it to be as abstract as possible so that players come away with their own interpretations and emotions after playing the game.

Why did we end up choosing this direction for our game?

- Honestly, who doesn't like cats? We wanted to do an abstract puzzle game after being inspired by another animal-inspired game - Rocks and Ravens (that can be found on itch.io). Most of us are working and we needed something modular to work on in our free time, so a puzzle game that we could all work on at our own times was ideal for our purposes.

Puzzle games are generally have to be hand-crafted, so I applaud the effort into making the game easy to understand and yet challenging. :)

Hey thanks for checking it out! Glad you enjoyed it. Cheers
